Electrical Design Engineer/Technician (Automation) with EPLAN Proficiency

Responsibilities:

Must have EPLAN Experience of atleast two years, * Electrical Design: Create and develop electrical schematics, control panel layouts, and wiring diagrams for automation systems using EPLAN software.

• Project Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including mechanical engineers, automation technicians, and project managers, to understand project requirements and contribute to the design phase.
• EPLAN Proficiency: Demonstrate advanced proficiency in EPLAN, including the ability to efficiently navigate the software, generate reports, and manage electrical documentation.
• Component Selection: Specify and select electrical components, such as sensors, actuators, and control devices, ensuring compatibility and compliance with industry standards.
• Compliance: Ensure that electrical designs adhere to relevant industry standards, codes, and regulations, with a focus on safety and reliability.
• Cost Optimization: Collaborate with the procurement team to identify cost-effective electrical components without compromising system performance and quality.
• Prototype Testing Support: Assist in the development and testing of electrical prototypes, troubleshooting issues and implementing design improvements as needed.
• Collaboration with Manufacturing: Interface with the manufacturing team to provide support during the assembly and wiring of control panels, ensuring accurate implementation of the electrical design.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date electrical documentation, including bills of materials, design specifications, and test procedures.
• Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process optimization in electrical design workflows and contribute to the implementation of best practices.

Qualifications: * Education: A degree or diploma in electrical engineering, mechatronics, or a related field.

• Experience: Proven experience in electrical design within the automation industry, with a focus on EPLAN proficiency.
• EPLAN Proficiency: Demonstrated expertise in using EPLAN Electric P8 for electrical design, including proficiency in creating macros, templates, and managing project databases.
• Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with automation components, PLCs, industrial communication protocols, and electrical control systems.
• Communication: Excellent communication skills to collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and convey technical information effectively.
• Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to address design challenges and optimize electrical systems.
• Attention to Detail: High attention to detail in creating accurate and error-free electrical documentation.
• Adaptability: Ability to adapt to changing project requirements and timelines.
