- Grade 12 / Matric
- Tertiary qualification as a Draughtsman
- 1 - 5 years of Draughtsman experience
- Proficiency in designing plans using computer-aided design (CAD) software, SolidWorks, or Inventor
- Development of detailed designs for mechanical equipment and controls
- Resolution of design problems
- Review and analysis of specifications
- Application of mathematical formulas to develop detailed specifications for components or machinery
