Electrical Engineer - Cape townJob SummaryAn exciting opportunity has opened up for our client within the Renewable Energy sector.Requirements:5+ YearsAtleast BSc Electrical EngineeringSoftware: ETAP, Power factory, AutoCAD, EMTP, PSCAD Microsoft OfficeFluent in EnglishJob Responsibilities:Attend meetings and give presentations to managers/clients.Attend educational/technical training and workshops to maintain professional knowledgeInterpret design specifications and technical drawingsInterpret all relevant standards for solar electrical connectionSupervise atleast 5 solar PV projects with atleast 3 projects with 10MWp capacityUtilize computer-assisted engineering and design software to create technical plans.Estimate project timescales, as well as material, construction and labour costsProviding technical support for business development activities such as developing proposalsUnderstanding of IEC, IEEE, NFPA and Grid Code*If you don't hear from us within 2 weeks, consider your application unsuccessful or alternatively send your CV to recruitment@jelocorp.com for possible employment opportunities.
