:Are you a technically skilled and motivated Electrical Engineer looking to make a real impact in the solar industry? Wexe2x80x99re searching for a problem-solver with a strong electrical background and solar expertise to help design, optimize, and deliver high-performance solar PV systemsxe2x80x94from concept to commissioning.This is your chance to work on exciting projects, collaborate with a passionate team, and drive the transition to renewable energy.Key Responsibilities:Design detailed Single Line Diagrams (SLDs) for solar PV systems, including switchgear, DBs, and full electrical layouts.Use Helioscope (or equivalent) to generate panel layouts and optimize inverter stringing.Specify and design battery storage solutions for hybrid and backup systems.Develop and maintain accurate Bills of Materials (BOMs) for procurement and costing.Manage SSEG applications, working closely with the PR Engineer, client, and admin team until completion.Participate in project kick-offs, technical handovers, and commissioning documentation.Collaborate across teams to ensure smooth project execution and clear communication.Ensure all designs comply with SANS, NRS, and other relevant standards.Requirements

• Electrical Engineering qualification or Electrical Technician with solar PV experience.

• Proficiency in solar PV design tools (Helioscope, PV*Sol, AutoCAD).

• Strong understanding of electrical systems, inverter matching, and string configurations.

• Experience with SSEG application processes (advantageous).

• Detail-oriented, accountable, and a proactive problem solver.

• Willing to work after hours when needed to meet project deadlines.

• Self-motivated, team player with a professional approach.

• R50 000 basic
