POSITION INFO:

• Electrical System Installation and Maintenance: The Electrical Technician will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining electrical systems.
• Troubleshooting and Diagnostics: Identifying and resolving issues with electrical systems through troubleshooting and diagnostic procedures.
• Compliance and Safety: Ensuring compliance with electrical codes and regulations, and promoting a safe working environment.

• Install, repair, and maintain electrical systems, including wiring, fixtures, and equipment.
• Conduct inspections and tests to identify electrical system malfunctions.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical issues using appropriate tools and equipment.
• Repair or replace faulty electrical components, such as switches, outlets, and circuit breakers.
• Install and connect wiring, conduit, and electrical panels according to specifications.
• Ensure proper grounding and bonding of electrical systems.
• Perform electrical maintenance tasks, such as cleaning contacts and lubricating equipment.
• Test and calibrate electrical systems to ensure proper functioning.
• Follow electrical diagrams and blueprints to install and troubleshoot systems.
• Keep accurate records of electrical repairs, maintenance, and service history.
• Provide technical assistance and guidance to customers and colleagues.
• Respond to electrical emergencies and resolve issues in a timely manner.
• Stay updated with electrical codes, regulations, and industry best practices.
• Adhere to company policies, procedures, and ethical standards.
• Assist in training and mentoring junior electrical technicians, if applicable.
• Maintain inventory of electrical parts, equipment, and supplies and coordinate their procurement.
• Collaborate with other trades and departments to coordinate electrical work.
• Ensure compliance with relevant electrical codes, regulations, and safety guidelines
• Ensure compliance with all relevant health and safety regulations and guidelines.
• Follow safe work practices and procedures when working with electrical systems.
• Use proper personal protective equipment (PPE) when working with electrical equipment.

• Diploma or certification in Electrical Technology or a related field.
• Knowledge of electrical system installation, repair, and maintenance practices.
• Understanding of electrical principles, codes, and regulations.
• Experience in diagnosing and troubleshooting electrical system issues.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical diagrams and blueprints.
• Familiarity with electrical testing and measuring equipment.
• Basic knowledge of electrical controls and circuitry.
• Good record-keeping and organizational skills.
