Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and experienced Electrician to join our team at a lodge located in Limpopo. The Electrician will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems and equipment to ensure the safety and functionality of the lodge's facilities. The ideal candidate should have a strong technical background, excellent problem-solving skills, and a commitment to maintaining a safe and efficient electrical environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Electrical Installations:

• Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and equipment in accordance with local regulations and safety standards.
• Plan and execute wiring and electrical projects, including lighting, power distribution, and control systems.

• Preventive Maintenance:

• Conduct regular inspections to identify and address potential electrical issues before they become problems.
• Perform routine maintenance tasks to ensure the longevity and efficiency of electrical systems.

• Troubleshooting:

• Diagnose and repair electrical malfunctions, including short circuits, faulty wiring, and other electrical problems.
• Respond promptly to lodge staff requests for electrical repairs.

• Safety Compliance:

• Ensure all electrical work is performed in compliance with relevant safety codes and regulations.
• Educate lodge staff on electrical safety practices and procedures.

• Record Keeping:

• Maintain accurate records of electrical work performed, including maintenance schedules, repairs, and inspections.

• Emergency Response:

• Be available for emergency on-call duty to address urgent electrical issues outside of regular working hours.

• Collaboration:

• Collaborate with other maintenance and lodge staff to address cross-functional issues and ensure the smooth operation of the facility.

• Minimum of [3] years of experience as an Electrician.
• Electrical trade certification or relevant qualifications.
• Knowledge of local electrical codes and regulations.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Physical stamina and ability to work in various weather conditions.
• Familiarity with lodge or hospitality industry practices is a plus.
