Eastern Cape, Jeffreys BayR 20 000 - R 25 000 Monthly Basic Salary (Market related)Our client in the Construction Industry based in Jeffreys Bay is currently looking to employ an Electrician.Requirements:

• A relevant trade qualification in electrical work (e.g., N3 Electrical Engineering, Trade Test Certificate)
• Experience: Minimum of 2-5 years of experience as an Electrician.
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, wiring, and safety standards. Proficiency in using electrical testing and diagnostic tools.
• Ability to troubleshoot complex electrical issues and implement effective solutions.
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail in all aspects of electrical work.
• Construction/ Building Pans: Good understanding of building plans
• Good verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with clients and colleagues.
• A valid Drivers License is and Own Transport Required.

Duties:

• Electrical Installations: Perform installations of electrical systems, including wiring, lighting, circuit breakers, and other electrical components in residential, commercial settings.
• Maintenance and Repairs: Diagnose electrical issues and carry out repairs and maintenance on existing electrical systems and equipment.
• Solar Installations: Design, install and maintain Solar Systems.
• Safety Compliance: Ensure all electrical work complies with relevant safety standards, codes, and regulations.
• Testing and Inspection (Single Phase): Conduct testing and inspection of electrical systems to identify potential hazards or areas in need of improvement. Issue COC where required.
• Project Management: Plan and execute electrical projects from start to finish, including estimating time, resources, and costs.
• Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve electrical problems efficiently and effectively, minimizing downtime and disruption.
• Customer Interaction: Liaise with clients to understand their electrical needs and provide expert advice and solutions.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate records of work performed, including job reports, material usage, and safety inspections.
• Team Collaboration: Work closely with other electricians, apprentices, and project managers to ensure the successful completion of projects.
• Emergency Services: Be available for on-call emergency electrical services as needed.

Additional Information:

• Working Hours: Monday - Friday: 07:00 - 17:00
• Weekends: Standby, occasional but rare call outs - overtime will apply.
• 3 month probation will apply.
