MAIN PURPOSE OF JOB

To provide electrical services and perform maintenance, repairs and replacements on all electrical systems, infrastructure and equipment to locality.

KEY RESPONSIBILITY AREAS

Perform technical jobs within locality

Perform administration duties within the technical function

Identify and mitigate technical risks within the locality

Coordinate work performed by on-site contractors within the locality

Maintain client and stakeholder relations within the technical function

REQUIRED EDUCATION

Essential: Qualified 3-phase electrician with N2 and successfully complete trade test

Desired: Wiremans licence

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE

Essential: A minimum of 3 years post qualification maintenance experience OR 1-2 electrical experience within a hospital environment

Desired: A minimum of 5 years electrical experience of which 3 years is in a hospital / hospitality field.

REQUIRED JOB SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE

• Electrical regulations and guides
• Fault finding and troubleshooting
• Maintenance and repair of electrical systems
• Alarm Panels, IT Networks &Communication Systems
• Heating and air conditioning systems
• Occupational Health and Safety Act
• Computer literate (Microsoft Office)
• Transformers and circuit breakers
• Autoclave
• Test equipment and devices
