REQUIRED MINIMUM EDUCATION/TRAINING
N3 or Grade 12
Qualified trade as electrician
Electrical trade test
REQUIRED MINIMUM WORK EXPERIENCE
3 years experience as a qualified electrician
KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS
Identify and implement best practices within all factories
Assist electrical technicians during projects in all factories
Perform electrical installations on all projects as requested and when required
Provide support to the maintenance team in identifying electrical faults during breakdowns as required.
Identify and report instances of poor electrical maintenance practices, and propose and execute preventive measures
Assist in the maintenance of electrical equipment
Visit factories to assist maintenance teams in maintaining standards on electrical installations
Report deviations on safety systems and bypassing of safety systems and rectify
Identify risks on electrical equipment and report to the manager
Contribute and promote a safe working environment and adherence to safe working practices
Maintain housekeeping in the workshop to adhere to safety policies and procedures
Maintain lost time injury frequency rate (LTIFR) to a minimum
TECHNICAL KNOWLEDGE/ COMPETENCIES
In-depth knowledge of maintenance practices of electrical and electronic equipment
Knowledge of fault finding and maintenance on electrical equipment
Knowledge of field instrumentation and electronic equipment
Knowledge of the production processes in a Milling Factory
