Bachelors or Masters degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related field.
Requirements
2-5 years of experience in electronic design required.
Prior experience in the electronics, telecommunications, or semiconductor industries preferred.
Experience with power electronics.
Proficiency in PCB design software such as Altium Designer, Cadence Allegro, or equivalent tools.
Strong understanding of PCB layout techniques, high-speed digital design principles, and signal integrity concepts.
Experience with schematic capture, PCB layout, and routing of mixed-signal circuits.
Familiarity with industry standards and manufacturing processes related to PCB design.
Duties
Design and develop PCB layouts for electronic systems, ensuring adherence to design specifications, industry standards, and best practices.
Create schematic diagrams and component libraries using EDA (Electronic Design Automation) tools such as Altium Designer, Cadence Allegro, or similar software.
Perform signal integrity analysis, power distribution network (PDN) analysis, and thermal analysis to optimize PCB performance and reliability.
Collaborate with hardware engineers, firmware engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless integration of PCB designs into overall system architecture.
Conduct design reviews and provide feedback to optimize PCB designs for manufacturability, cost-effectiveness, and performance.
Generate and maintain documentation including PCB assembly drawings, bill of materials (BOM), and design specifications.
