Responsibilities:

Manage electronic engineering division.
Determine requirements and develop electronic instrumentation and control instrumentation for research departments.
Maintain and develop instrumentation and related control systems.
Train and mentor staff in an agile environment.
Research and implement new ways of solving electronic and instrumentation engineering.

Qualifications and Experience:

MSc/MEng Electronic and Electrical Engineering or equivalent and 5 years experience or a BSC Eng./B.Eng. with 8 years experience
inclusive of 3 years experience in a management position.
Availability to work outside regular working hours.
Experience with and knowledge of radio frequency, analogue, digital, and high-speed digital electronics.
Experience with digital signal processioning techniques, hardware description language design, embedded programming, Linux.
Excellent software programming skills
Basic understanding of radiation safety (advantageous)
