Company DescriptionOur client in the IoT industry is in search of an Electrical Technician at their Randpark Ridge offices to assist in testing, installing, assembling and maintaining electronic systems and components.

• Electronics technical background and experience
• Attention to detail
• Well organized and able to multi-task
• Excellent wiring and soldering skills
• IPC certification in wiring and PCB manufacturing (advantageous)
• Knowledge of electronic components and proper handling
• Demonstrates good interpersonal skills
• Intermediate skills in Microsoft Office suite (word, powerpoint, excel and Outlook)

Qualifications

• Ability to use hand tools and operate test measurement instruments like multimeters, etc.
• Ability to interpret PCB schematics and wiring diagrams
• Assembly and testing of PCB's and looms in accordance with IPC standards
• Fault finding
• Assist with purchasing of electronic components.
• Maintain and improve documentation and processes
• Stock control and assist with regular stock takes (MRP system)
• Manufacturing and/or assembly of products
• Execute some Quality assurance functions
• Ad hoc duties/projects as and when required
• Assisting in the design and development of electronic circuits and systems, including schematic capture, layout, and testing.
• Conducting experiments and tests on electronic systems and components to identify and resolve technical problems.
• Analysing and interpreting data to determine the performance and reliability of electronic systems.
• Collaborating with engineers to ensure that electronic systems meet project requirements and specifications.
• Participating in project planning and management activities, including estimating costs and timelines, tracking progress, and reporting on project status.
• In addition to these technical responsibilities, a Electrical Technician may also be required to communicate with clients, vendors, and other stakeholders to gather requirements, provide technical support, and ensure that project deliverables meet expectations.
