Write the next chapter of your ABB story.This position reports toService ManagerYour role and responsibilitiesIn this role, you will have the opportunity to execute service work of low and medium voltage equipment to high complexity as per work instructions and ABB guidelines. Each day, you will deliver excellent customer service to satisfy customers. You will also showcase your expertise by working with custom-er to identify opportunities in the installed base, to improve system performance and operational per-formance. The work model for the role is: Onsite This role is contributing to the Electrification Service Business in Longmeadow You will be mainly accountable for: Provides technical support and solves problems in own expertise area via remote or on-site service in any Service category (installation and commissioning; maintenance; repairs; engineering and consulting. advanced services; extensions, upgrades, and retrofits; end-of-life services, replacements, etc. Investigates customer needs through professional consulting. Provides technical consulting on Service solutions to management and customers. Determines effective Service applications, equipment, and methods to develop, market, or manufacture new Service offerings to respond to customer requirements cost-effectively. Manages customer relationships and maintains regular contact with key customers. Identifies new sales opportunities, proactively communicating both with the customer and ABB sales teams to ensure customer needs are understood and business opportunities utilized for service growth. Conducts specialist support and advisory service for the Sales team. Coordinates and executes specialist Service projects in relevant areas internally and externally (e.g., create milestones, project plan, cost supervision, action steps, project reviews, and project supervision) including all commercials. Prepares all documents and reports to be signed by the customer representative. Reports work done in a timely manner and follows up when needed. Provides recommendations to management to improve operations and customer service. Plans activities in a timely and cost-effective way and monitors the performance. Works with account teams to identify opportunities in the installed base. Works to reduce cost and improves the quality of delivery of service and projects. Determines suggestions for product and quality improvement proactively and communicates them further in the ABB organization You will join a high performing team, where you will be able to thrive.Qualifications for the role Electrical engineering diploma or equivalent.Experience and understanding of working on low voltage equipment.2 - 4 years work experienceExperience and understanding the ABB Abilityxe2x84xa2 Electrical Distribution Control System.Understanding the digitization of the ABB products of low and medium voltage.Understanding the customers Architecture when implementing and commissioning the digitization systems.Good understanding of the different communication protocols used in the industry.Preference will be given to EE candidate.
