Our client, an established aerospace company, is recruiting for a highly skilled Embedded Software Engineer to join their team of professionals who are committed to excellence.POSITION INFO:
Embedded Software Engineer
Cape Town, on siteQualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- At least 5 years of industrial experience in embedded software engineering with solid experience in C/C++ programming
- Extensive experience with UML diagrams for software development
- Demonstrated expertise in embedded systems design, particularly with pre-emptive, multitasking real-time operating systems (RTOS) is a plus
- Ability to develop and implement software for embedded devices and systems, covering the full lifecycle from requirements gathering to production and commercial deployment
- Skilled in architectural design, project planning, estimation, and the execution of complex software projects
- Proficient in developing, coding, testing, and troubleshooting system software
- Familiarity with the DO-178 certification process is advantageous
- Capable of motivating and guiding team members to deliver high-quality solutions
- Responsible for the design, development, and implementation of real-time, embedded software for the companyxe2x80x99s aerospace and UAV systems.
