Our client in Witbank area in need of an Employee Relations Business Partner.Minimum Requirements:
National diploma or degree in Human Resources or Industrial Psychology
Advanced Labour Law diploma (desirable)
Registered with HR professional bodies
5 Years experience as an HR generalist
Valid driver's license and own transport
Computer literacy
Attention to detail
Tasks and output:
Ensure legal compliance and keep up with ER trends in the business area
Represent the company in disciplinary/grievance hearings and consolidations/arbitration cases at the CCMA as and when required.
Provide advice to management, departments, chairpersons and employees with regards to employee relations and disciplinary processes.
Support the HR manager with ensuring sound labour relations throughout the unit/departments through proactive engagements with the workforce and trade unions
Monitor HR and organizational climate
Provide counselling, mediation and consulting services if/when required
Align ER functions to the training functions (e.g. training line supervision on the disciplinary code)
Compile statistics and monthly ER reports
Support to HR on tracking and checking the wellbeing of employees off site
Plan and coordinate union training plans
If required, design and prepare training material for internal training events
