Artisan General Labourers
Job Description
We are looking for a Artisan and machine operator General Labourer to take up manual labour tasks and support operations in worksites.
One of the most important general labourer responsibilities is to collect trash,
debris and other waste to keep the site clean and safe. You’ll also get to handle power tools and materials
Successful candidate should ensure to lift heavy loads and have stamina Responsibilities
Assist welders, carpenters, painters or other trades people on construction site
Cleanup worksites from hazardous and obsolete material
Handle and transport materials and equipment
Use power tools and machinery such as forklift when needed
Put up warning signs for vehicles and passersby
Follow instructions from supervisors to perform manual labour tasks
Help with setting up and transferring temporary structures
Report issues with equipment or unsafe conditions
Requirements and Skills
Grade 8-12. Hand on experience 0-5 years
Ability to meet the physical demands of the job. Standing for long periods of time, lifting heavy loads of up to 40 pounds
Familiar with power tools and machinery
Commitment to safety rules
Communication and teamwork skills
