One of Africa's largest onion producers and a primary supplier of potatoes, carrots and beets to local and international markets is looking for an Engineer - Technical Divisional Manager, to join their dynamic team of senior role-players. The business has its head office near Kimberley, with operations spread over three production units. They offer long-term career opportunities to talented team players who enjoy optimisation.The technical department is responsible for the design, construction, optimisation, management and maintenance of all technical aspects.In the execution of the functions, the following fields are managed:

• Agriculture: Processing, Agricultural equipment, Irrigation and Drainage.
• Civil: landslides, Road maintenance, Pumping stations and Buildings.
• Mechanical: Tractors, Forklifts, Trucks, Harvesting and Packhouse equipment.
• Electrical: Power management, Eskom and Green Power.
• Electronical: Packhouse equipment and harvesting machines.
• Artificial Intelligence (AI): New technology.
• Safety and Environment: Management of all regulatory aspects related to Safety and Environment.
• The designated candidate must have a passion for agriculture.

• A relevant degree or postgraduate qualification in an Engineering field;
• Minimum of 8 years of relevant experience in an operational/technical management role, preferably in agriculture or FMCG;
• A proven management track record;
• A passion for agriculture is essential.
