Qualified and experienced candidates are invited to apply for the Engineering Data Controller role, responsible for managing product data and engineering changes within the Engineering Operations Department. This role will be based in Kariega Eastern Cape.The role involves managing and coordinating product data and engineering changes for the Group projects, focusing on accuracy and alignment with the Group standards.Key tasks include:

• Creating and updating the Bill of Materials for the Group's projects.
• Developing and validating a specific database.
• Documenting and coding engineering data changes and notifications.
• Analyzing and tracking changes in the Groups Universal Model Frameworks (UMF).
• Coordinating online coding systems and prototype vehicle parts lists.
• Managing and documenting Engineering Changes across various phases.
• Summarizing and reporting on Engineering Change Requests (ECR) and investment costs for the Group.
• Advising on local content changes and managing vehicle specification data.
• Maintaining technical rules and consistency checks in MBT and TIS databases.
• Participating in projects as a representative for Product Data Management to advise on engineering systems and processes.

• A relevant 3-year diploma or degree in Engineering, Logistics, or Business Management.

• At least 4 years of experience in the automotive industry.

• Proficiency in MS Office
• Strong ability to work under pressure and represent Product Data Management confidently.
• A blend of commercial, analytical, and technical skills.
• Effective problem-solving and conflict management skills.
