DOWNLOAD OUR ONE-PAGER to find out more about who we are in a nutshell.Duties & ResponsibilitiesDelivering Mechanical Preventative Maintenance PlansCompile a mechanical machinery preventative maintenance strategy and plan for the business unitBenchmark machines, fittings and systems with leading development trends and make recommendations for the improvement of current processes and standardsIdentify and investigate new development, environmental and energy-saving opportunities for the propertyCommunicate with all relevant Stakeholders internally at a unit and Group level and externallyConduct regular building and grounds walkabouts as required to inspect and audit mechanical supplies, machinery and systems and address any risk areasManage and facilitate mechanical equipment maintenance and upgrades according to 10-year plan and assist in developing condition assessmentsManage mechanical equipment maintenance and repairs in line with preventative maintenance planEstablish and enforce testing programs; scheduling repairs; coordinating shut-downs and installationsMaintaining Mechanical Systems & RepairsOversee the inspection and testing of different mechanical equipment and systems to ensure compliance with safety regulationsEstablish design criteria and prepare specifications, design computations, drawings, models, and bills of material in accordance with basic project requirementsDevelop and participate in reviews, in collaboration with maintenance team, with regards conceptual drawings, layout process flows, process flow diagrams and, piping and instrumentation diagramsLead mechanical equipment-maintenance and repair resources and teamManage the investigation, diagnosis and resolution of any escalated issues, risk areas and repairs to various machines and equipment across the complexConduct quality assurance on mechanical machinery work and repairsSupport the team with troubleshooting and resolution of queries relating to work completedConduct business continuity planningManage staff appearance and floor appearance/ functioning of equipment and systemsOversee the processes of storage and control of mechanical equipment and machine assets; stock and partsManage the development and maintenance of equipment history recordsReport on maintenance downtime, cost, availability, manpower utilization and reportUpdate site plan layout thus ensuring building capacity planning & monitoringMechanical Compliance Standards & GovernanceOversee the development and updating of policies and procedures for all mechanical equipment.Oversee the development, communication and auditing of mechanical system and equipment maintenance and engineering standards and processes for the business unit on a regular basisAlign practices with new legislative compliance around health, hygiene, safety and the environmentImplement efficient control measures (including systems and processes) & checks within each department to mitigate any financial risk to the business.Conduct weekly walkabouts of all front of house and back of house areas to monitor complianceDrive a waste management culture and ensure all staff are trained.Work with internal stakeholders to identify risk areas and address theseBudget ManagementCollaborate with the entire Mechanical Management team to manage the budget for the function including:Cost managementCapexFinancial reporting on project expenditure and progressMonitor and approve all budgeted project expendituresAssess the impact of deviations on the project and overall programme, and report results to key stakeholders.Evaluate the outcomes of the project as established during the planning phase Stakeholder ManagementEngage with internal customers to understand challenges;
