Job Summary Description:
Hire Resolve's client is currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Engineering Manager to join their Mining team in the Northern Cape for a 3-year project. As the Engineering Manager, you will be responsible for managing and coordinating all engineering activities to ensure the safe and efficient operation of the mine.Responsibilities:

  • Manage and oversee all engineering activities within the mining operation
  • Develop and implement engineering strategies to optimize productivity and cost-efficiency
  • Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations
  • Manage the maintenance and repair of mining equipment
  • Coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth operations
  • Provide technical guidance and support to the engineering team
  • Prepare and manage engineering budgets
Requirements:
  • Grade 12
  • National Diploma/Degree in Mechanical Engineering
  • GCC Mines and Works qualification
  • 10 years' experience in a similar role within the mining industry
  • 5 years' opencast mining experience
  • Extensive experience in Earth Moving Equipment
