-Join us as an Engineering Specialist Production and take on the responsibility of ensuring the integrity of the electrical reticulation system by providing expertise in the maintenance of equipment and assurance of MV installations and emergency power requirements for critical control systems ensuring plant and equipment is available and operated in a safe and reliable condition.

-Assist the Resident Engineer in developing an operational plan for the year to support the achievement of throughput objectives Undertake to plan, up to 1-2 years ahead, the budget requirements according to the planned maintenance schedules verses operational targets Liaise with the Resident Engineer regarding daily, weekly and monthly progress to plan, budget and employees resources Review operational plan and re-assign targets and objectives to subordinates Regularly communicate progress of section against operational targets and objectives Evaluate, monitor and provide continuous feedback to the section regarding the performance efficiencies, standards of the section labour, equipment, budget and process targets Undertake to audit the satisfaction of the operational team to who the coordinator provides high level technical support Oversee the quality of workmanship and conduct regular inspections around the section Undertake to audit the satisfaction of the operational team to who the coordinator provides high level technical support Oversee the quality of workmanship and conduct regular inspections around the section

This role is in the Engineering Department at a Band 6 level reporting to the Resident Engineer

Qualifications

-Grade 12 or equivalent Trade qualification Engineering Specialist Certificate

EXPERIENCE

5 years' experience as Engineering Foreman
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS


Basic computer literacy Manufacturing knowledge (Platework /machining/Fitting) Mechanical and structural Drawing understanding Service environment English literate Valid driving license code 08
