Enrolled Nurse / Phlebotomist - PotchefstroomFull job descriptionJob Purpose:Correct collection, handling and transportation of samples for testing.Assist with self-collection of samples. Assist with certain medicalprocedures under supervision of a nurse or a doctor.Perform point of care testing.Qualification / KnowledgeCandidates to be fluent in AfrikaansGrade 12 Certificate2-3 Years experienceQualified Medical Technician in PhlebotomyRegistered with HPCSA /SANCValid drivers License (for use of company vehicle)SkillInterpersonal relations (kc)CommunicationAttention to detailKey Accountabilities1. Collection / Delivery of specimens, reports and other itemsa. Effective collection of specimens from various clients as per SOPb. Handle administrative duties and queries as appropriatec. Maintain safe and housekeeping standards in accordance with OHS Acte. Provide functional support in the department.2. Quality Managementa. Ensure the correct application for quality assurance processes in standard operating procedures.b. Adherence to company policies and procedures3. Living the JDJ Diagnostics Value Systema. Comply with Customer Focus requirementsb. Accountability to patients, supporters, and all members of team.c. Display respect and ethical behaviord. Good team player, with good communication skills
