Job Description
The role focuses on ensuring optimal patient preparation, assisting during surgical procedures, and delivering post-operative care in accordance with hospital policies and best
practice standards.Education, Qualifications and Experience:
- Grade 12 or equivalent qualification
- Enrolled Nurse qualification registered with the South African Nursing Council (SANC)
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a theatre environment in the healthcare sector or hospital environment
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Understanding of infection prevention and control practices
- Knowledge of surgical instruments and procedures
