Job Description
Job Summary Donwyk Laboratory is opening a new branch in Eastern Cape and is looking to hire a Enrolled Nursing Auxiliary, The Enrolled Nurse Auxiliary will be responsible for direct and/or indirect nursing care of a patient or group of patients and will function under the direct and/ or indirect supervision of the Registered Nurse. Responsibilities: Practice patient care according to his/her Scope of Practice and assume total responsibility for these activities Execute all procedures according to hospital standards Carry out all departmental related duties as assigned by Supervisors Practice the principles of infection prevention and all standard precautions Promote and maintains good public relations with patients, relatives and visitors Attend handover of report from the Shift leader Refer any queries to the sister-in-charge Maintain a therapeutic, clean and safe environment that is free from medico-legal hazards Adhere to Donwyk Laboratory medical waste management principle and all other waste management principles Education Experience: Grade 12 or any qualification equivalent to NQF level 4 Registration with the South African Nursing Council as an Enrolled Nurse Auxiliary Experience in a private hospital environment will be an advantage Extensive ENA experience within the specified discipline would be an advantage
