ROLE PURPOSEThe Enterprise Architect role co-ordinates the development and implementation of architectural frameworks and leads the population of these frameworks with coherent and consistent architectural views. The individual is responsible for establishing the scope of the enterprise in question, setting down architectural principles and vision and for ensuring the rigor and integrity of the enterprise architecture, together with associated deliverables.The Enterprise Architect should be familiar with and experienced in the application of one or more architecture frameworks and any associated architecture development methods, including at least one of the following: TOGAF, Zachman, FEAF/AGIMO.
The Enterprise Architect will be responsible for ensuring that the populated architecture framework is appropriate in the context of the business environment. The Enterprise Architect must be comfortable with leading a team of solution architects within business, application/systems, data/information and technical architecture disciplines and must be able to explain clearly the benefits of an architectural approach. They must be experienced in presenting and explaining the architectural views to stakeholders at all levels from technical/IT staff to Main Board/CEO. The Enterprise Architect should also be able to develop portfolios and programmes of work to deliver the enterprise architecture.
The purpose of enterprise architecture is to create a map of IT assets and business processes and a set of governing principles that drive an ongoing discussion about business strategy and how it can be expressed through IT.ROLE REQUIREMENT

  • Establishment and leading Nexio Architecture Board
  • Understand the customers future state Enterprise Architecture (strategy and plans)
  • Develop and maintains the Nexio enterprise architecture that produces organization wide view of current and future business, information, applications and technology architectures, that align with the Nexio business strategy, investment and design decisions

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
  • Solid understanding of how architectural designs relate to large project objectives and business requirements.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • 10+ years of IT experience across all disciplines in infrastructure technology solutions.
  • 7+ years of experience developing architectural solutions and strategies across multiple domains across all disciplines.
  • 5+ years of experience developing architectural solutions and strategies for emerging markets.
LEADERSHIP COMPETENCY REQUIREMENTS
