EMPLOYMENT TYPE:PermanentCOMPANY:A large retail chain based in Cape Town.LOCATION:Cape TownWORKING MODEL:HybridJOB OVERVIEW:In the role of Enterprise Solutions Analyst, you will work closely with the Enterprise Architect to develop and sustain the enterprise IT architecture. Your tasks will involve analysing systems, documenting architectural outputs, and ensuring alignment with business objectives. Furthermore, you'll manage and update the enterprise repository, promoting collaboration with stakeholders, such as Solutions Architects, to ensure smooth architectural integration.DESCRIPTION OF POSITION:Key Responsibilities:

• Support Architecture Strategy: Work alongside the Enterprise Architect to shape the enterprise architecture strategy, frameworks, and standards, guiding Solutions Architects as needed.
• System Review: Collaborate with IT teams to evaluate systems, identify improvement opportunities, and offer insights to Solutions Architects for solution planning.
• Comprehensive Documentation: Accurately document architectural designs, standards, and guidelines, ensuring they are clear and accessible to stakeholders, and maintain the enterprise repository for easy reference by Solutions Architects and business stakeholders.
• Technology Assessment: Assist in assessing new technologies and solutions to ensure they align with the organisation's architectural principles.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Communicate effectively with stakeholders to ensure architectural standards are understood and followed.
• Training and Assistance: Offer training and ongoing support to Solutions Architects on enterprise architecture principles and tools.

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:

• Excellent verbal and written skills to effectively communicate technical information to various stakeholders.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills: Highly capable of identifying system enhancements and proposing effective solutions.
• Proven ability to work with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to achieve shared goals.
• Familiar with retail operations and able to integrate this understanding into enterprise architecture efforts.
• Customer-focused approach to understand and prioritise stakeholder and end-user needs, delivering relevant solutions.
• Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritise, meet deadlines, and manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:

• Bachelor's degree or diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, focusing on enterprise architecture or retail management.

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

• Skilled in analysing intricate business processes, designing enterprise-level solutions, and managing projects or teams.
• Experienced in system analysis, detailed documentation, and solution assessment within an IT setting.
