An international Data Analytics company based in Johannesburg is actively recruiting for a Junior Data Engineer. The company is small and intimate with a massive impact in the market. Your main focus will be to implement data architecture within the company and keep up to date with data engineering.Requirements:

• BSc related Degree from a recognised university, completed in record time
• Excellent Matric Results
• 70%+ average University results
• Skills: Python, SQL, Scala, Java, Relational Databases, Cloud Platforms, ETL, Data Modelling
• Excellent Communication and Presentation skills

KPA's:

• Design, develop, and implement data pipelines and ETL processes tailored to their clients' specific needs focusing on data cleansing, aggregation, and enrichment.
• Collaborate with clients to understand their business requirements and translate them into scalable data solutions.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful implementation and integration of data solutions.
• xc2xb7Data collection and integration from data sources such as; databases, APIs, external data providers and streaming sources.
• Aggregation of unstructured data collected from multiple sources (data warehousing).
• Data storage and management - optimization of data schemas; ensuring data quality and integrity.
• Process and analyze large sets of data.
• Understand and implement Data Architecture, including data in motion, data at rest, datasets and the relationship between data-dependent processes and applications.
• Keep up-to-date on the latest trends and technologies in data engineering and apply them to deliver innovative solutions for our clients.
