Environmental Assessment Practitioner Technical / Construction ~ Project Management
Durban North, Durban - KwaZulu NatalENVIRONMENTAL ASSESSMENT PRACTITIONER (EAP)Our client has an exciting opportunity for a dynamic individual to join their teamResponsibilies:Drafting of S&EIR, BAR & EMPr or any other statutory documents and reports as required by legislationDrafting of Environmental Rectification Applications (24G)Compilation of Waste Licence ApplicationConduct Public Participation Process (PPP)Conduct Environmental AuditsDirect link between clients and various State Departments e.g., DMRE, DWS, DFFE, etc.Project management and AdminKnow how to use DFFE Screening ToolCompiling EA ApplicationsCompiling QuotationsLiaise with SpecialistsQualifications/Experience Required:Post Graduate degree in Environmental Science/ Management or any similar fields.Knowledgeable in Environmental Legislation such as NEMA, NWA, NEM:WA and NEM:AQAA good understanding of the whole EIA process (S&EIR, BAR & 24G process)Understanding of Environmental regulatory processes (including but not limited to EIA, WUL, BAR, EMP)Strong communication skills and technical writing skillWillingness to travelValid drivers license and have own vehicleEAPASA registeredMinimum 4 years of working in the Environmental Impact Assessment FieldApply for this Job
