Our client, Environmental consultants in Cape Town are currently seeking the skills of an Environmental Assessment Practitioner/Environmental Consultant for a contract roleMain job functionWorking professionally with all due care as an integral part of the Environmental Services Team, including quality control, meeting deadlines, managing deliverables for all environmental applications and associated processes and ensuring Client satisfaction at all times.Demonstrating accurate and timeous actions to ensure that all technology platform knowledge management systems used by the Company for the Environmental Services Team are kept current, relevant and meaningful.Demonstrating accurate and timeous actions to ensure that all filing knowledge management systems (such as correct file naming, saving of emails, key decision, minutes, maps, etc.) used by the Company for the Environmental Services Team are kept current, relevant and meaningful.Demonstrating accurate and timeous actions to ensure the effecting implementation of administrative tasks related to taking and issuing minutes, action points and memos that are relevant, concise and meaningful.Assist with coordinating and managing allocated Projects including: Project management, Quality control, Meeting all deadlines, Managing deliverables, Ensuring client satisfaction, Delivering on the brand promiseAssistance with the development of operational systems and processes to continually improve the efficiency of the above-mentioned servicesAssistance with the development of new product offerings from the Environmental Services Team for the CompanyAssistance with Client recruitment, development and maintaining and enhancing Client relations for the CompanyAssistance with Project recruitment and development for the CompanyPublic Speaking and representing at key industry forumsAssistance with strengthening existing partnerships and development of new strategic partnerships, respectivelyAssistance with strengthening and improving brand presence of the CompanyAdministration and general logistical support to the CompanyECO (Including, site visits, providing induction workshops to contractors, addressing any issues on site and compiling ECO Reports)Assistance to Management and EAPs with project research, drafting of relevant documentation and any other requirementsConducting site visits as well as placing of site notices when requireQualificationsEnvironmental QualificationProfessionally registered with EAPASACriteriaThe successful candidate will understand and demonstrate how to manage Clients and Projects of International stature.The capacity to diligently, efficiently and effectively manage complex projects, timelines and scenarios will need to be clearly demonstrated as will an inspirational, can-do and people focused leadership ability.Professionally registered with EAPASA2-3 years of successful private sector EIA and ECO experience across South Africa, ideally in the renewable energy sector.Outstanding attention to detailExcellent problem-solving abilities and quality control of the highest standard.The successful candidate will understand and demonstrate how to manage Clients and Projects of International stature.The successful candidate will also demonstrate a deep seated passion for our organizational culture and brand aspirationThe following skill sets are core:
