Environmental Consultant
Job Description
We are looking for someone who will be able to project manage, administrate and compile multiple, multi-disciplinary environmental projects and prepare proposals.?Effectively project manage the environmental and social legislative processes applicable to the relevant country.?Maintain an awareness of country applicable legislation and the potential impact on the various projects.?Participate in marketing the company and bringing in new business/projects.?Effectively manage tasks relating to project team management which includes:?Project resource allocation and workload forecasting.?Project budget and invoice forecasting?Effectively project manage the following:
- Environmental and Social Impact Assessments (ESIAs) according to the relevant legislation and international standards, such as the IFC Performance Standards.
- Environmental Permitting;
- Mining Right Applications;
- Working in close collaboration with specialists from other disciplines;
- Consultation with stakeholders,
- Liaising with clients and authorities; and
- Compile and write reports and other written deliverables for submission to the client and necessary authorities.
