Job Description


An established financial services firm is eager to bring on board an Equity Analyst to join their team is Johannesburg, Gauteng.As an Analyst you will be responsible for submitting research reports, projections, and recommendations in line with the organizations stocks. This opportunity aims to attract an individual with a strong numerical acumen.Duties and responsibilities include:

  • Extensive financial modelling and valuations.
  • Analyzing accounting models.
  • Composing well-researched reports and providing investment recommendations.
  • Presenting all analysis findings to management, clients, and relevant stakeholders.
  • Building relationships with partners to form strategic client relationships, while identifying external investment opportunities.
  • General administration.
Requirements:
  • CFA/B. Com investment Management degree
  • Postgraduate finance qualification (Advantageous)
  • 3 - 5 years experience as an equity analyst.
  • Advanced MS Excel proficiency
  • VBA/ MATLAB (advantageous)
  • Strong numerical and analytical skills.
  • Team player with good communication skills
