If you have experience in costing shopfitting projects, including steel and timber elements, you could be the ideal candidate for this role.Are you a meticulous and technically skilled Estimator with a knack for interpreting project drawings and calculating accurate steel and timber costings?We are seeking a dedicated individual to join our team, where your expertise will play a crucial role in supporting our operations.Key Responsibilities:

• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and suppliers, ensuring integrity, responsiveness, and continuous communication.
• Accurately interpret architectural and engineering drawings, specifications, and technical documents.
• Calculate costs for materials, labor, and equipment for various projects.
• Leverage your market knowledge to develop precise and competitive cost estimates.
• Review and verify estimates for accuracy and completeness.
• Maintain a detailed materials order register.
• Collaborate with project managers and team members to support effective project planning and execution.
• Communicate regularly with other divisions within the supply chain to ensure smooth operations.
• Provide support to the estimating & costing and imports & exports divisions.

Qualifications & Experience: Essential:

• Grade 12
• Relevant experience in the manufacturing industry, specifically in timber, steel, or light metal fabrication.
• Relevant tertiary education or currently pursuing a qualification.
• Experience with Syspro.
