Job Description
We are currently recruiting for a Senior Estimator in the logistics industry. Current estimating experience in logistics is required for this position.
Requirements
Matric
Relevant tertiary qualification
Experience in estimation in the logistics industry
Knowledge of Incoterms
Knowledge of all modes of transport
Responsibilities
Application of freight, origin and destination charges on all modes
Formulating and providing estimates and proposals to clients and agents
Compiling of sea, air and road freight quotes
Keeping a CRM for follow ups
Tenders and projects
Negotiating rates and carriers and third party logistics
Preparing proposals and tenders
