DBN000044 - Estimator (Junior) Durban -Purpose of the job:
To create preliminary price estimates, collect labour & material data & complete early cost calculations for projects.Required Qualifications
- Relevant tertiary qualification.
- Minimum of 3- 5 years experience within a Construction, Civil, Shopfitting or Renovations environment.
- Gather and evaluate pertinent contract documents for estimation
- For estimates, get pricing from suppliers and subcontractors.
- Help in process optimization by providing assistance
- Compile and prepare all attributes and non-price information.
- Create quotes, prices, and related submission specifications for the tendering process.
- To ensure that the declared margin is practically possible within industry norms
- Ensuring the prices are market-related
- Support the due diligence process on tenders &pricing
- To oversee the procedure through contract award and operational handover
- Excellent communication Skills.
- Great Time management skills.
- Analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Fist class Leadership skills.
- Attention to detail
