Job Description


Provide administrative support to senior executives of leading reputable company.Essential pre-requisites

  • Matric (Grade 12)
  • A
degree or degree in Business Administration, Communications or related field
  • Minimum 7+ years experience working with senior executives, media industry experience is advantageous
  • Proven experience in a business management role, with a special focus on executive-level advising and interdepartmental collaboration.
  • Advanced skills MS Office, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook
  • Proficiency in Apple/macOS is an advantage
  • Proven ability to use a variety of multimedia communication tools
  • Self-directing ability - show initiative, identify challenging areas and solve
  • Project management - ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Outstanding Microsoft skills
  • Proficiency in Apple/macOS
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Developed organizational/interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work within a team and independently
  • Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • High level of discretion and confidentiality.

  • Duties:
  • Schedule and manage the diaries of some of the executive team members.
  • Manage information flow in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Maintain confidentiality and ensure the security of sensitive information.
  • Consolidate and review management reports on a regular basis as per Group requirements
  • Planning and coordinating meetings and workshops
  • Prepare meeting agenda and packs.
  • Take minutes of meetings when required and keep records. Follow up on action items and ensure timely completion.
  • Develop and design presentations for executive meetings (internal and external), ensuring they are visually appealing and convey the necessary information effectively.
  • Working with leadership to deliver, monitor and communicate progress towards goals
  • Provide support, coordination and follow up on a variety of projects
  • Responding to inquiries on behalf of the executive team.
  • Upkeep of tasks lists
  • Manage various SLAs regarding service delivery
  • Ability to conduct research
  • Oversee/ Coordinate strategic business initiatives from ideation to implementation
  • Implement and manage group-wide initiatives and programs.
  • PowerPoint presentations
  • Collate information from various members to create monthly Exco Reports and Quarterly Board Reports with assistance from the Intelligence team, in accordance with Group requirements.
  • Screen and direct phone calls and distribute correspondence
  • Handle travel and accommodation arrangements both local and international including itineraries
  • Maintain and update records, databases, and filing systems, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
