Job Description


Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead, mentor, and motivate the kitchen team to deliver outstanding dining experiences.
  • Develop creative, seasonal menus that reflect the lodges premium standards and guest preferences.
  • Oversee kitchen operations, ensuring smooth and efficient service.
  • Maintain the highest standards of food hygiene and safety.
  • Monitor and manage kitchen budgets, inventory, and food costs.
  • Collaborate with management to create special dining experiences, events, and promotions.
  • Train and develop staff, ensuring they uphold service and food quality standards.
  • Ensure consistency in food preparation, presentation, and quality control.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience as an Executive Chef or in a similar leadership role in a luxury or high-end hospitality setting.
  • Exceptional culinary skills and a passion for fine dining.
  • Strong knowledge of kitchen management, food safety standards, and inventory control.
  • Experience in developing and costing menus that balance quality and profitability.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and in a fast-paced environment.
  • A degree or diploma in Culinary Arts or related field preferred.
  • Experience working in a lodge, resort, or similar setting is an advantage.
  • A keen understanding of guest service and commitment to delivering outstanding experiences.
