Job Summary Candidate requirements:

  • Minimum of 6 years in a similar role
  • Degree or Diploma in Culinary Arts
  • Proven experience in the 5* Service industry
  • Passion for creating unforgettable culinary experiences
  • Needs to have in-depth knowledge on Asian cuisine as well as the environment and country
  • Excellent communication skills with both guests and staff alike
  • Exceptional organizational and time-management skills
  • Must be able to provide world-class hospitality and service standards
  • Be able to manage and lead a team of staff
  • The ability to train staff and implement kitchen standards
  • Excellent stock control management
  • Food and Safety knowledge and the ability to implement this
  • Up to date on world food trends
  • Ability to set menu's according to what's trending as well as seasonally available
  • Excellent administration capabilities
