Job Summary This is a unique opportunity to lead the kitchen of a plant-based, Mediterranean-inspired restaurant in El Gouna, Egypt. With a strong seed-to-table philosophy, the focus is on fresh, locally sourced ingredients to create innovative plant-based menus.Candidate requirements:

  • Grade 12
  • A diploma or degree in culinary arts from a recognized institution. (essential for work visa)
  • Previous experience as an Executive Chef or Head Chef in a high-end restaurant.
  • Strong knowledge of seed-to-plate cooking, plant-based cuisine, and ethical sourcing.
  • Ability to develop seasonal, locally inspired menus that showcase fresh, high-quality ingredients.
  • Skilled in leading, training, and mentoring a diverse kitchen team to foster excellence.
  • Strong understanding of budgeting, menu costing, inventory management, and supplier relations.
  • Hands-on approach to crafting plant-based dishes while also excelling in traditional culinary techniques for off-season menus.
  • Expertise in maintaining food safety, hygiene, and operational standards.
  • Comfortable interacting with diners to enhance their appreciation of the restaurantxe2x80x99s unique food philosophy
