The lodge seeks a passionate and creative Executive Chef to lead its culinary team, crafting exceptional, locally inspired dining experiences. The ideal candidate will be a strong leader and mentor, upholding high standards of hygiene, organization, and quality while fostering innovation in the kitchen. Collaboration with managers, suppliers, and guests is key to ensuring a seamless and memorable culinary journey.
This is a unique opportunity for a dedicated chef who thrives in a remote, luxury setting and values sustainability and community impact.Candidate requirements:

• Minimum of 6 years in a similar role
• Degree or Diploma in Culinary Arts
• Proven experience in the 5* Service industry
• Passion for creating unforgettable culinary experiences
• Needs to have in-depth knowledge on Asian cuisine as well as the environment and country
• Excellent communication skills with both guests and staff alike
• Exceptional organizational and time-management skills
• Must be able to provide world-class hospitality and service standards
• Be able to manage and lead a team of staff
• The ability to train staff and implement kitchen standards
• Excellent stock control management
• Food and Safety knowledge and the ability to implement this
• Up to date on world food trends
• Ability to set menu's according to what's trending as well as seasonally available
• Excellent administration capabilities
