We prioritize health and well-being while delivering exceptional culinary experiences.:As an Executive Chef Trainer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and overseeing culinary training programs for our culinary team members. You will work closely with our Executive Chefs and culinary leadership team to ensure that our chefs have the skills, knowledge, and expertise required to deliver exceptional dining experiences to our guests. Your passion for culinary arts, leadership abilities, and commitment to excellence will inspire and elevate our culinary team to new heights of success.Responsibilities:Training Program Development: Collaborate with the Executive Chefs and culinary leadership team to design, develop, and update culinary training programs and curriculum. Tailor training content to align with company standards, culinary trends, and industry best practices.Training Delivery: Conduct engaging and interactive training sessions for culinary team members, including chefs, cooks, and kitchen staff. Cover topics such as culinary techniques, menu development, food safety, sanitation, and kitchen management. Provide hands-on demonstrations, practical exercises, and culinary workshops to enhance skills and creativity.New Menu Rollouts: Coordinate with the Executive Chefs and culinary teams to facilitate the rollout of new menus and culinary initiatives. Train chefs and kitchen staff on new recipes, cooking methods, plating techniques, and ingredient sourcing to ensure consistency and quality across all outlets.Skills Assessment and Evaluation: Assess the culinary skills and performance of team members through observation, evaluation, and practical assessments. Identify areas for improvement and provide coaching, guidance, and additional training as needed to enhance culinary proficiency and creativity.Culinary Competition Preparation: Mentor and coach culinary team members participating in culinary competitions and events. Provide guidance on menu development, presentation techniques, and competition strategies to help chefs showcase their culinary talents and represent the company with distinction.Quality Assurance: Monitor and evaluate the quality of culinary output and dining experiences across all outlets. Conduct regular inspections and tastings to ensure adherence to culinary standards, recipe consistency, and guest satisfaction. Provide feedback and recommendations for improvement to culinary teams and management.Qualifications:Diploma or degree in Culinary Arts, Hospitality Management, or related field preferred.Proven experience as an Executive Chef or Sous Chef in a high-volume, fine dining establishment.Strong culinary skills and expertise in various cuisines, cooking techniques, and kitchen operations.Experience in culinary training, mentoring, and coaching culinary team members.Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate others.Creative flair and passion for culinary arts, innovation, and excellence.Must have an Assessors QualificationMust have own reliable vehicleJob Type: Full-timeApplication Question(s):Do you have an assessor qualification?Location:Cape Town, Western Cape (Required)
