Our client in the ICT industry is currently looking for an Executive Head of Finance: Business Partnering, Midrand, Johannesburg.Responsibilities:

• Business Unit Decision Support:
• Provide timely and valuable input to business units for better decision-making.
• Develop credibility and challenge business units to achieve objectives.
• Analyse performance, evaluate products and support sales segments.
• Conduct post-implementation reviews and drive Technology Efficiency Programme initiatives.
• Statutory Responsibilities:
• Develop accounting strategies and manage external audits.
• Ensure compliance with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and statutory requirements.
• Manage statutory compliance, annual financial statements, and taxation.
• Financial Accounting:
• Manage the record-to-report process, accounting policies, project accounting, and balance sheet management.
• Oversee fixed assets, and inter-company processes, and support budgeting and tax management.
• Treasury Management:
• Handle banking relationships, cash management, foreign currency management, and cash flow forecasting.
• Manage corporate credit cards, petty cash, and insurance.
• Payroll Management:
• Oversee payroll team, controls, procedures, and banking files.
• Manage payroll interfaces with HR and tax directives.
• Financial Controls:
• Review purchase requisitions/orders and ensure decisions align with governance frameworks.
• Manage operating expenses, revenue assurance, and ERP applications.
• Business Case Development Support:
• Evaluate and support new initiatives, develop structured business cases, and ensure governance policies are followed.

• CA(SA) required.
• At least 6 years in Senior Finance Management, with a minimum of 4 years in the ICT industry.
• Experience managing diverse teams and leading external audit engagements.
• Advanced skills in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
• Experience in strategic financial planning, leading teams, and understanding macroeconomic environments.
• Strong commercial acumen, adaptability, and resilience.
