Job Description
A client within the Healthcare & Laboratory industry is seeking the Expertise of an Executive Manager AARQA that will provide strategic direction, management, monitoring, and evaluation of diagnostic, training, research and development mandates. This role will be based in Johannesburg.The Key Responsibilities for this Role Include
- Manage team within the training function
- Set the strategic direction for research and development
- Strategic direction and system for grants management to ensure research funding is optimal and properly utilised
- Develop and oversee budgets
- Management of patents
- MMed / FCPath qualification
- Registered with the HPCSA as a Specialist in Pathology
- Management Qualification (advantageous)
- 10+ years' experience within the Pathology / Diagnostic Infectious Diseases environment
- At least 5 years' experience as a Senior Manager within the Pathology / Diagnostic environment
- Experience within the Higher Education (advantageous)
- Health Research (advantageous)
- Understanding of donor funding (advantageous)
