An opportunity has opened up for a strategic operator with a sharp eye for governance, structure, and safety across complex environments.
This role is ideal for someone who thrives in fast-paced, ever-evolving spaces someone who can align executive intent with ground-level execution, ensuring that risk management and assurance frameworks arent just documented, but truly embedded.
Youll Be Responsible For:

• Developing and implementing a comprehensive Safety, Risk and Assurance Framework.
• Managing audits, performance metrics, and reporting across multiple jurisdictions.
• Leading the evolution of standards, procedures, and governance aligned with best practice.
• Preparing reports, tracking critical business deliverables, and supporting board-level strategy.
• Acting as a key link between the MD, Operations, Risk, and Business Development teams.
• Advising on incidents, investigations, and outcomes in a consistent and legally sound manner.
• Driving alignment on safety and risk between business units, partners, and key stakeholders.

The Ideal Profile:

• Minimum 5 years experience at senior or executive level in a similar function.
• Deep understanding of assurance, governance, and regulatory risk frameworks across African jurisdictions or similar landscapes.
• Emotionally intelligent, discreet, and highly organised with natural leadership presence.
• Able to work independently, travel when needed, and handle confidential matters with precision.
• Excellent written and verbal communicator, comfortable with executive-level interactions.
