Job Description

We are currently seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Expeditor (Junior Controller) to join our operations team. The successful candidate will be responsible for expediting and coordinating the movement of goods to ensure timely delivery. While a certificate or diploma could be an advantage, we also welcome candidates with relevant experience and skills.Responsibilities: * Coordinate with suppliers and carriers to schedule and expedite the movement of goods.

• Monitor and track the status of shipments to ensure timely delivery.
• Communicate with suppliers and carriers to address any delays or issues in transportation.
• Provide support to logistics controllers and coordinators in managing logistics operations.
• Assist in the preparation of shipping documents and customs clearance procedures.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies and procedures.
• Maintain accurate records of shipments and logistics activities.
• Coordinate with other departments, such as procurement and warehouse, to facilitate the flow of goods.
• Assist in resolving logistical issues and addressing customer inquiries or concerns.
• Perform ad-hoc tasks and projects as assigned by the operations manager.

Requirements: * Certificate or Diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related field (advantageous).

• Previous experience in logistics, transportation, or a similar role is preferred.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Proficiency in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record-keeping.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Knowledge of logistics operations and supply chain processes is a plus.
