Job Summary Packaging manufacturer in Pinetown is looking for an Expeditor, for a contract to permanent position. Requirements: xe2x80xa2 National Diploma minimum xe2x80xa2 1-3 years experience in an administrative position xe2x80xa2 Experience in manufacturing / production / logistics or related xe2x80xa2 Planning and/or buying experience advantageous xe2x80xa2 Excellent computer skills, especially Excel; SAP experience advantageous Remuneration: xe2x80xa2 R15 000 to R16 000 / month (fixed contract) xe2x80xa2 If later appointed permanently additional benefits apply Key Performance Areas: xe2x80xa2 Assist in calculating Raw Materials and Packaging requirements xe2x80xa2 Prepare and process purchase orders, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies xe2x80xa2 Maintain Raw Materials delivery schedule xe2x80xa2 Monitor inventory levels and co-ordinate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials xe2x80xa2 Keep track of inventory and raw materials within business parameters xe2x80xa2 Monitor slow moving and dead stock SKU's xe2x80xa2 Collaborate with Raw Materials incoming inspection team to ensure materials meet the required standard xe2x80xa2 Reporting - month end, supplier OTIF and other stock related reports xe2x80xa2 Provide support in resolving any issues related to orders, deliveries or quality of materials xe2x80xa2 Ensure internal and external customer satisfaction xe2x80xa2 Adhere to food safety procedures Competencies: xe2x80xa2 Analytical and logical thinker xe2x80xa2 Strong communication skills, with the ability to interact across the organisation xe2x80xa2 Able to work to deadlines and under pressure xe2x80xa2 Passionate about customers / customer service xe2x80xa2 Excellent attention to detail xe2x80xa2 Able to multitask and think on their feet Contact Scott on 0117041302McKessar RecruitmentRandburg2-10RecruiterAboutWe are specialist recruiters in the following industries : 1.) high speed packaging (FMCG), 2.) plastics packaging and 3.) industrial pumps and valves.
