We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Export Coordinator to join our dynamic team.




The incumbent will be responsible for managing and overseeing the export process, ensuring the efficient transportation of our products to cross-border African markets. The liaison between Sales, Production, Marketing and relevant stakeholders.



QUALIFICATIONS

BSc Animal Science and/or BSc Veterinary Science
EXPERIENCE

1-3 year's experience as an import and export coordinator in the food manufacturing environment
KNOWLEDGE

Knowledge of import and export regulations Customs Procedures documentation for the cross border Sub-Sahara African Region.
SKILLS

Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously. Attention to detail and accuracy in preparing documents and ensuring statutory compliance. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with internal teams, external partners, and customers. Proficiency in report creation and record-keeping to ensure transparency and compliance. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Knowledge of inventory management principles and practices is an added advantage.

KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS (KPA'S)





Export Documentation



Prepare and manage all documentation required for importing and exporting goods, including invoices, packing lists, certificates of origin documents. Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards

Customs Compliance



Work closely with customs authorities to ensure compliance with export regulations, tariffs, and trade agreements. Coordinate customs clearance procedures to expedite the movement of goods.

Logistics Coordination



Collaborate with internal logistics stakeholders

Customer Communication



Serve as the primary point of contact for internal and external customers regarding import and export requirements and any other related inquiries. Provide excellent customer service and support to ensure customer satisfaction.

Regulatory Compliance



Stay up to date with changes in import and export regulations requirements. Implement procedures to ensure ongoing compliance and mitigate risks associated with exporting good

Supply Chain Management



Coordinate with internal departments including production, marketing and sales, to ensure accurate forecasting and availability of products for export. Optimize processes to minimize lead times and maximize efficiency.

Reporting and Analysis



Create reports on import and export activities, including volumes, revenue, and performance metrics. Analyze data to identify trends, opportunities for improvement and cost-saving initiative. For more information please contact:
