Required Education and Experience

High School Diploma
Three (3) years of related working experience.
Fluent in English and Portuguese
Technical and functional proficiency in material & logistics knowledge, geography of Sub Sahara Africa, shipping methods, material handling equipment, export procedures
Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
Previous experience working in shipping and logistics
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Creating files per COMPANY import shipment complete of all necessary paperwork
Creating files per ocean export shipment complete of all necessary paperwork
Ensure that the export paperwork is accurate/ complete and in line with SAP.
Ensure that all export paperwork has been supplied by the freight forwarder in line with COMPANY instructions.
Work closely with the different freight forwarders in obtaining the relevant documentation in good time after shipment completion.
Create an efficient filing and file retrieval process for all import and export files
Daily critical review on export tonnages in SAP
Daily communication on progress of file completion and copper/ cobalt stock levels
Active involvement in Deloitte / Chartis audits of export shipments
Develop and maintain a cost per shipment report
Performs other duties as required.
