DUR002142 Senior External Trader- (Johannesburg)Job Purpose:
To grow and maintain sales, build strong customer relationships, and manage sales operations in Zambia and Zimbabwe for the company, ensuring targets are met and the company's brand and customer service standards are upheld.Required Qualifications:
- Grade 12
- Tertiary qualification in a relevant field is advantageous.
- Minimum 5 years experience in the steel sales environment
- Extensive knowledge of the mild steel market.
- Experience with maintaining and growing sales and relationships within the international market.
- Developing new sales and relationships within the international market.
- Negotiate buyouts from suppliers.
- Stock forecasting, ordering, and control.
- Monitor aged stock with the relevant Sales Manager.
- Collaborate with internal teams to drive sales.
- Willingness to travel regularly to Zambia & Zimbabwe.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
