The IIE enjoys the reputation of being at the forefront of private higher education in South Africa and is registered with the Department of Higher Education and Training (DHET) to provide higher education qualifications accredited by the Council on Higher Education (CHE).THE OPPORTUNITYIIE Varsity College, Westville campus is seeking appointees in the field of Commerce to strengthen the teaching and research capabilities in the Faculty of Management Studies.JOB PURPOSEThe primary purpose of this position is the delivery of effective facilitation/lecturing on qualifications and all associated academic activities such as student engagement and support that will promote student success and learning.KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS:

• Lecturing/Facilitation
• Marking
• Student support

Competencies Required:

• Communications skills
• Organisational skills
• Time management

Minimum Education Requirements per module:Ideal:

• An Honours degree in Information Systems or Computer Science.

Alternatively:

• An Honours degree in a business-related field with database and programming modules to the 3rd yearin the undergraduate qualification.

Minimum Work Experience Requirements:

• Lecturing experience in Management / Risk management/ IT management/ project management/ Business Analysis
• Work experience as a risk manager/ project manager or IT manager involved in data analysis/data-driven business solutions.
