External Products Support Agriculture

Job Description
To provide commercial, logistical and technical support on the development of the BMG Agricultural basket of products, especially PTOs, bearings, VSDs. Converting existing reseller business over onto the BMG online platform.Key Objectives/Principles accountabilities:
- Logistics planning with suppliers and BMG branches
- Research & development of new products
- Manage and monitor Excess, Short dated stock
- Matching sales targets.
- Ensure healthy margins by updating pricing schedule
- Negotiate pricing structures with suppliers
- Review daily exception report on Margins and report back on queries
- Network with sales team
- Handle queries/suggestions raised
- Communication on specific suppliers
- Ensure safety and health problems are identified and reported to the safety rep for rectifying
- Ensure hazardous situations are reported or resolved immediately
- Ensure safety an health equipment is available and ready to use, accidents/incidents are prevented by effective operating of equipment and machinery, and by following health and safety procedures
- Matric/Grade 12
- Minimum of 5 years of Bearings, Power Transmission and Agricultural, specific ground engaging product experience, specifically agricultural focused
- Sales Representative experience, Proficient in MS office suite especially Excel and PowerPoint
- Previous experience in a similar environment would be an advantage
- CRM exposure and experience is advantageous
